Danielle Guinta began her dance training at the tender age of 3 in her hometown of Mastic, NY. Her teachers, Radio City Rockette Angela Mezzacappa, Brockport graduate Viana Petrucci, and studio owner Colette Sewell were the perfect trifecta of talent that made her the versatile dancer she is today. Shortly thereafter, Ms. Guinta studied business management at a local college and was accepted at Broadway Dance Center where she became an assistant for the late Frank Hatchett, studied closely with Fordham University professor Sheila Barker, Rhonda Miller of Pace, the amazing Tracie Stanfield, Natalya Stavro, and Rhapsody James. Danielle also taught hip hop for the Children’s Program at BDC as well and had the pleasure of working with Peter Gallagher’s daughter Kathryn. Living and working in Manhattan, Danielle became an event coordinator planning corporate events for MTV, CBS, the New York Yankees, and many other major corporations as well as performing. Synthesis Dance Company, Vissi Dance Theatre, American Candy, Élan Awards, are just some of her many performance credits. She worked with the amazing dance photographer Lois Greenfield, sat on the board of trustees for ASEID Contemporary Dance Company, and tours the country on several judging panels for regional and national competitions. Ms. Guinta was one of the most influential teachers for Trent Kowalik who won the Tony Award in 2009 for his role as “Billy” in Billy Elliot. She is also responsible for coaching Broadway talent Makenzi Fischbach. Danielle is currently the owner and artistic director for Legworks Dance Studio. Her love for choreography and coaching never dulls and is the main focus of her world. She has lead Legworks to many regional and national titles. Danielle works alongside her mother and role model Addie and co-owns Posfit together.
