Team LDS History
Legworks competition team has been taking home many regional and national titles for the past 20 years. Awards include: “Grand National Champions” at KAR, several nominations for Industry Dance Awards, “Outstanding Choreography” at several regionals and nationals, Highest Scoring Studio at In10sity, “Presidents Cup” winners 3 consecutive years for Extreme level at Primetime, Apogee awards for Petite and Junior level at Starquest, highest scoring dance at Showbiz regionals, 1st place overall in every age level at multiple regionals, personal scholarships and conventions for our dancers and over 100 titles won by our soloists in every age level.
Our team consists of an estimated 50-60 dancers who are committed to 5-6 days a week of intense training. It requires each dancer to participate in 4 regional competitions, 3 conventions, and 1 nationals every other season. Classes include 4 hours of ballet, 90-minute leaps and turns, and 60 minutes conditioning, jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary, and/or hip hop. We encourage our students to choose which genres they want to participate in and do not have to compete in all. The choice is yours.

Our philosophy here at LDS is something we are very passionate about. We teach our dancers to be kind, work hard, and always remain humble. They are taught to be open toward healthy criticism and welcome opportunity at every experience dance related or not. Work hard to achieve personal goals and push each other past comfort zones. We believe quality is more important than quantity. LDS trains versatile dancers in a commercial dance designed program with heavy emphasis in ballet. Our dancers and parents are close as we put family above all.
